This technology enables large-scale, long-duration energy storage without geographical limitations: the high-pressure end uses transcritical CO2 for high-density storage, while the low-pressure end achieves 100 kg/m3 high-density storage by adsorbing CO2 at atmospheric pressure (0.1 MPa). Electrothermal conversion and energy storage are realized through gas compression/expansion and low-pressure adsorption/desorption, adapting to peak regulation for thermal power, cogeneration, heat-power decoupling, and large-scale energy storage for renewable power plants.
