This technology achieves single-catalyst high-ivity para-xylene (PX) co-producing olefins from methanol and toluene, with flexible product ratio adjustment. In 2017, it completed ton-scale catalyst amplification and kiloton-scale circulating fluidized bed pilot testing, certified as internationally leading technology by national appraisal. Its core value lies in simultaneously providing two polyester raw materials (PX and ethylene), linking the whole coal-methanol & toluene-PX-polyester industrial chain. Coupling with traditional aromatics units, it can increase PX production, promoting complementary development of coal and petrochemical industries.
