This technology uses tandem desulfurization and denitrification towers. Industrial kiln flue gas first enters vertically at the lower part of the desulfurization tower, passes horizontally from inside to outside through granular desulfurizers, where alkali bases react with SO2 for desulfurization; purified gas exits from the tower's upper outlet, enters an oxidative atmosphere for treatment, then proceeds to the denitrification tower. In the denitrification tower, the gas contacts granular denitration agents, where alkali bases react with NO2 for denitrification. The final purified gas is discharged via an induced draft fan to the chimney, and spent agents are discharged from the bottom of each tower.
