This technology, developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics in collaboration with enterprises, responds to the National VI clean gasoline standards. It adopts catalytic distillation sulfur etherification processes using proprietary catalysts and modular components, achieving mild and efficient desulfurization of light gasoline. Sulfur content is reduced from 60 ppm to below 3 ppm, meeting "low sulfur, controlled olefins, and preserved octane number" requirements. Pilot tests (500 tons/year) the catalyst's high ivity and mechanical strength, meeting conditions for large-scale application.
