The team has developed various low surface energy anti-fouling and anti-corrosion organic composite coating materials, such as the BN@F-SiC/EP system, to address the significant threats posed by corrosion to the national economy and public safety, as well as the inadequacy of traditional coatings in heavy anti-corrosion applications. These materials block liquid penetration paths, enhance anti-corrosion performance, and extend the service life of coated objects.
