To address the issue of coarse grains in Al-Si alloys used for automotive light-weighting, the team has developed a new Al-Ti-B intermediate alloy refiner with an anti-recession effect lasting up to 180 minutes. Additionally, the Al-Ti-B-C refiner also exhibits excellent grainrefining performance, a minimal addition can greatly enhance the grain structure.
