This technology focuses on upgrading methanol-to-formaldehyde processes: the ironmolybdenum method, which directly produces high-concentration formaldehyde (eliminating the concentration step and significantly reducing energy consumption and alcohol-containing wastewater treatment costs), is gradually replacing traditional silver methods. The newly developed iron-molybdenum catalyst features low raw material consumption, high ivity, layered packing (effectively reducing hotspot temperatures) and long operational life.
