This technology aims to develop a robot system for inspecting bridge cable performance. The robot carries non-destructive testing equipment to climb cables and transmits inspection results and operational status to ground monitors through wireless transmission, enabling realtime control by ground personnel. Key technologies include an efficient cable-climbing robot body structure, stability analysis and motion controllers, a wire-break detection device based on vision and ultrasound principles, a data transmission system, and a method for coupled oscillation in stayed cables robot.
