This technology develops novel ratio-dependent fluorescence/phosphorescence luminescence lifetime polymer probes to address the poor water solubility, biocompatibility, or toxicity of existing optical oxygen probes. Through free radical polymerization, it combines fluorescence reference units (stable phenoxazine derivatives), phosphorescent iridium complex sensitivity, and PEG's water solubility and biocompatibility. The probe exhibits excellent water solubility, biocompatibility, and stability, using ratio-dependent luminescence lifetime detection to accurately track intracellular oxygen level changes.
