Achievement: Technology of Efficient Regulation and Ecological Restoration of Urban Black-odour Rivers

Introduction: In light of the existing prominent issues (such as high treatment cost, impact of upstream water distribution, poor winter repair effect, secondary pollution in treatment project and unsatisfactory long-term operation and maintenance achievements), this project has independently developed a complete set of technologies for pollution source control, riverwater quality improvement and ecological restoration, river-channel smart management and control and three-stage restoration of black smelly polluted rivers, among the others. In this project we have also developed a set of technology system for efficient recovery and ecological restoration of polluted black smelly urban riverways, and has the independent intellectual property rights of such technology. In this regard, this project will generate significant social and economic benefits and play an important role in demonstrating and promoting environmental protection in Zhejiang Province and the whole country at large. It is also significant for practicing the theory of “Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets” proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
